Benefits Of Strength Training For Women

For women’s health and fitness: strength training is far superior

“Oh no, strength training is not for me, I only exercise for my health!”

I was talking to a friend of mine recently, a health coach, about one of my favorite topics, which is women’s health.  I was telling her about all the wonderful benefits of strength training, and particularly about the most successful body sculpting program in the world, the Body Design Formula System, created by Dr. Fitness USA. This is known to produce amazing and unique results such as increasing ones strength by 20% in 20 minutes.  And not only for female problems (such as endometriosis, chronic fatigue, or even depression), but for all areas of a healthy lifestyle. Including injury prevention and rehabilitation, stress management and even in addiction recovery.

Being a yoga aficionado and an aerobic queen, her immediate response to my conversation was: “Oh no, strength training is not for me, I only exercise for my health!”

It left me shocked and amazed at her lack of awareness and education in regards to the many benefits of strength training for women’s health! Specifically as it concerns women’s fitness.

Unfortunately, this was not the first time I encountered such a comment from health coaches and it is one of the main reasons I wrote a revolutionary new book: “Feminine Body Design, Empowering fitness for pain free life”, to dispel the myths in women’s fitness and reveal the facts about some of the most popular exercises for women’s health.

Ladies, strength training isn’t just for Arnold Schwarzenegger anymore!

It is really a system of exercise that provides superior health benefits, and is available to everyone.  If you go to a local gym and observe, you can find everyone from teenagers to great-grandmas strength training.  Because of its outstanding and superior health benefits, ii is fast becoming the number 1 scientifically proven anti-aging sport, for general well being and to fight diseases.

Most people that do train with weights will praise its great benefits and will tell you that it makes them more energized and happier, along with reducing stress.  It is amazing how much better you will feel!  Not only because of the massive amount of endorphin  your body creates in response to weight lifting, but the empowering strength you will feel.  It is actually quite addictive!  You will actually crave your workouts and look forward to them!

Some of the natural health benefits of strength training for women’s health include:

• Boost metabolism
• Regulate hormonal imbalances (reduces estrogen and increases production of progesterone)
• Builds bone density mass (prevents or reverse osteoporosis)
• Improves glucose metabolism and insulin sensitivity
• Reduces risk of diabetes
• Fights heart disease, improves cholesterol and blood pressure
• Fight arthritis and back pain
• Reduces visceral fat around internal organs, which produces inflammation
• Improve the proper functioning of internal organs
• Reduces the appearance of cellulite
• Fights against depression and stabilizes mood behavior

One of the amazing benefits I have personally found in strength training on the Body Design Formula that was created for me is that it made my back stronger. Prior to beginning my strength training workouts with Dr. Fitness USA, I had so many injuries, caused by my professional career in dance, I was afraid to lift anything heavy, or even not so heavy! Now that is a problem of the past.

The benefits listed here are just a few of the many health advantages you will enjoy from incorporating strength training in your women’s fitness regiment. Hence, the icing on the cake, of course will be toning your body and achieving a beautifully sculpted physique, improving body image perception and self-esteem, while increasing muscle strength. This will make daily activities easier and more enjoyable.

So whether you are healthy.

Or battling some female problems (such as endometriosis, chronic fatigue, weight loss or depression).

Incorporating strength training two or three times a week in your exercise routine is a must to optimize your health.

The other side of this coin is, looking ahead to increased and continuing pain, muscle loss syndrome, loss of strength and aging prematurely among other inevitable consequences.

So don’t delay and begin on this incredible journey. Act now, because the future belongs to those who act NOW! You will not regret it. Take my word for it.
