FREE WEIGHT VS. MACHINES

There are instances where we give you the option to use a machine or free weight. There are certain exercises that require taking heavy weight to produce results, for example with the chest press. Young healthy men will be able to lift 50lbs dumbbells without any problems for example, while an underweight gentlemen who has never worked out, or an older men for example will often not be able to lift much more than 20 to 25 lbs., which is insufficient to stimulate the muscle or muscles worked. This is the reason why at times, we give you the option to use free weights or a machine.
