Face down thigh curl instruction
If you do have a face down thigh curl machine, you can now switch and use it instead of the seated curl.
The reason is, when doing a seated curl, you have a partial movement, while when doing a facedown curl, you have a fuller range of motion.
Adjust the roller so that it fits comfortably on your ankles. Keep the body grounded into the machine, in other words, do not lift the butt off the machine when curling.
If you have more than 1 type of facedown curl machine, test them all and chose the most comfortable one.
When I go to Gold’s gym, I use an Icarian, and I can do easily 80 lbs. When I go to LA Fitness, they only have the LifeFitness and I can barely do 40lbs.
So you need to try the equipment with light weight first and then chose the machine that suits you best.
