You heard it before and it is true, half the battle is showing up
Give yourself permission to leave the gym if you really are too out of it. In general though, when you get in the environment and you get started, that “feel-good thing” kicks in. Chances are you won’t want to leave, specially when you are working out on a “prescription” a formula, where you have direction and purpose and you know you will get it done in less then an hour, still maximizing your time and effort.
